We are celebrating an organizational milestone with news that we received 501(c)(3) nonprofit status and are recognized as a charitable organization by the IRS. This makes us tax-exempt and eligible to apply for government and foundation grants. The more resources available to us, the stronger our ability to impact students’ journeys to and through their post-secondary goals.
Expanding the Impact
“Obtaining 501(c)(3) status enables The Ambassador Foundation to fully live up to it’s mission to offer access and navigation through the higher education system to students otherwise left out of opportunities available to them.” states Marius Finch, Executive Director. “The granting of nonprofit status allows us to expand the work of inspiring and empowering students.” he added.
Since its formation in fall 2022, The Ambassador Foundation has been providing college advising, leadership training, scholarships, internships, and peer-led community as foundational resources to students of color, first generation, and other traditionally under-represented populations who seek advice and assistance. Our staff has over a century of combined experience in serving students of all ages and the joy of seeing families thrive because of coming alongside a mother or father when education made the pivotal impact.
