Meet 3 of 48 high school graduates we’re celebrating this season:
Congratulations to Lindsay Mejia, this year’s Ambassador Scholarship recipient! Lindsey earned the 4-year, need-based scholarship to attend any nonprofit college in Colorado, and will begin studies at MSU Denver this fall. She plans to major in criminology with an interest in the psychology of crime.
All graduating seniors who complete our Leadership & Scholarship Program are eligible to apply for this competitive award, administered by The Denver Foundation.
This year’s $2,500 runners-up scholarships go to Heaven Aschalew and Wintana Tadesse. Along with the $3,000 L&S completion scholarship, they’re heading to exciting futures: Heaven to CSU’s SPUR campus with plans to study mechanical engineering and Wintana to University of San Diego to study biology.
We’re proud of these scholars and can’t wait to see what they achieve next!
