NEL WOLLER
Board Chair
Nel lives in Boulder with her husband where they raised their three daughters, and now they get to be doting grandparents of 4 lovely little humans. Spending time with their grandchildren is her very greatest pleasure. Nel’s life long career has been in the field of education. She has taught kindergarteners through high school students. Several of the years years have been spent writing curriculums, training teachers and serving as assistant principal. She loves creating curriculum and problem solving with students to make learning accessible for all. With the Ambassador Foundation she now has the opportunity to work with amazing young adults as they make their way through their own educational journey. Nel feels incredibly fortunate to spend her working life doing what she loves.
MANDO APIO-WHITE
Board Member
Mando Apio-White is a Program Manager at The HadaNõu Collective, where we partner with nonprofit Executive Directors and their teams to navigate pivotal moments of organizational growth. Through executive coaching, leadership development, and the design of high-impact learning experiences, the HadaNõu team helps equip leaders with practical tools and strategies to strengthen their organizations and better serve their communities. Prior to his work in the social impact sector, Mando spent six years as a middle and high school science teacher, where he developed a deep passion for education, mentorship, and helping young people discover their potential.
His commitment to community extends beyond his professional work. He has volunteered with organizations such as Minds Matter Colorado, and served on the Colorado Student Leaders Institute (COSLI) Board of Directors. He is also an active advocate in supporting local businesses, farmers markets, and community events. He joined The Ambassador Foundation because he believes every young person deserves access to meaningful opportunities, supportive mentors, and the guidance needed to thrive. He is passionate about investing in the next generation, building stronger communities, and creating pathways that empower young adults to lead lives of purpose and impact.
NOAH BORWICK
Board Member
Noah is the very much the entrepreneurial type, and is the owner of Borwick Wealth Management LLC, a firm that specializes in Tax Accounting, Investing, Financial Planning, and Insurance. Helping individuals, families and businesses coordinate, plan, and realize their best financial positions is all in a day’s work. Prior to owning his own financial firm, Noah had jobs in the media industry in both TV and radio. His last role was as a Vice President and Wealth Advisor for a large local bank. Noah is a Colorado native, having grown up in Denver and attended East High School. Noah attended Colorado State University in earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Understanding that education is a great equalizer, Noah prides himself on being a teacher and a student, always wanting to learn and help others learn as well.
CRILLY KEARNEY
Board Secretary
Crilly was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She has been married for over 10 years and has two beautiful children. Crilly got her masters in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2011 and worked as a counselor within the correctional system, as well as providing community mental health services to children and families in Palm Beach County, Florida. During her time in Florida, Crilly completed her master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology at Florida Atlantic University. After completing school, she moved back to Denver to work at an elementary school. She has been at her job for the last 8 years and loves supporting students in Pre-K through 4th grade with their speech and language needs so students can reach their full potential, gain confidence, and become independent.
CALEB HESTER
Board Treasurer
Caleb joined UMB in 2012 and currently serves as a Senior Vice President in their Commercial Banking Group. He works with middle market clients across multiple industries to address their financial challenges and helps them develop a plan that ensures long term financial success. Prior to joining UMB, he spent 4.5 years as a lender with another financial institution. Caleb is active in his community and his past board involvement includes Tennyson Center for Children, Denver Children’s Foundation, Denver Children’s Advocacy Center, and Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation. He is a Denver native and attended Colorado State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance and a minor in Economics. Caleb enjoys spending time with his wife and their son and exploring the Colorado outdoors.
TONY PRICE
Board Member
Anthony “Tony” Price currently serves as Director of Recreation for the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is responsible for overseeing a comprehensive recreation, fitness, and wellness service with state-of-the-art facilities and high engagement programs. He served in a similar role within the Auraria Campus, MSU Denver from 2001 – 2017.
Tony’s civic engagement includes currently serving on the University of Iowa’s Sport and Recreation Management Advisory Board. He formerly served on the Board of Directors for Cleo Parker Robinson Dance and the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation. He is a graduate of the Denver Metro Chambers Leadership Denver Program (class of 2012) His passion lies with serving students, advancing youth initiatives and working for underserved communities.
Tony received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of Colorado,Boulder and a Master of Arts degree from the University of Iowa in Athletic Administration. Tony is native of Iowa City, Iowa and currently resides in Arvada, Colorado with his family. He loves being a father to his children and is an avid skier and cyclist.
NEGOU SEID
Board Member
Negou Seid is a Software Architect at TTEC and the founder of Fundamentl, the company behind FoundationOS, a platform helping foundations and companies manage grantmaking, employee giving, volunteering, and community impact. He has more than a decade of experience in software engineering and building digital products. Negou is also a former participant in the Colorado “I Have a Dream” Foundation, where he first met Marius—a connection that became an important part of his journey and helped shape his passion for using technology to strengthen communities and create opportunities for others.
KRISTY TAFF
Board Member
Kristie Taff is the President and Managing Partner of ProVisions LLC, a Colorado-based commercial construction company, where she leads strategic planning, operations, and project execution. She is passionate about developing people, building strong partnerships, and creating opportunities for others to succeed. Kristie earned a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master’s degree in Civil Engineering from Stanford University. Having witnessed the opportunities that higher education creates, Kristie is passionate about ensuring every student has access to the guidance and support they deserve. She is honored to serve on the Board of The Ambassador Foundation and is inspired by its commitment to helping students from historically underrepresented backgrounds achieve their educational goals. She looks forward to contributing her leadership experience and collaborative approach to help expand the Foundation’s impact and empower the next generation of leaders. Outside of work, Kristie enjoys playing golf, traveling, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with her husband, two children, and their two Australian Shepherds.
